Role Overview
KEA Building Contracting LLC is hiring an experienced Site Document Controller for construction projects in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Control, register, and distribute project documents, drawings, and correspondence.
- Maintain logs for drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, WIRs, MIRs, and NCRs.
- Ensure the site team has access only to the latest approved drawings and documents.
- Submit documents to consultants and clients and follow up on approvals.
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
- Track revisions, approvals, responses, and pending submissions.
- Prepare weekly document-status reports for the project team.
- Coordinate with engineers, QA/QC, subcontractors, consultants, and head office.
- Support preparation and compilation of project handover documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Document Controller.
- Previous construction-site experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation and document-control procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and document-management systems.
- Familiarity with Aconex is preferred.
- Strong organisational, communication, and follow-up skills.
