Role Overview

Site-based HR Assistant supporting HR operations and employee relations across construction sites in Dubai.

The role deals directly with site employees and labour workforces and requires strong coordination, documentation, and employee-relations skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR coordination point for site employees and labour workforce.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support and handle employee queries, concerns, grievances, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain site employee records and HR documentation.
  • Monitor attendance, absenteeism, leave, and employee movements at site.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation and explain policies, site rules, attendance procedures, and HR requirements.
  • Coordinate employee document collection and submission to HR.
  • Assist with disciplinary matters, complaints, warning documentation, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, Project Managers, and HR.
  • Support employee welfare and communication between site employees and management.
  • Prepare HR, manpower, attendance, and other site-related records.
  • Support compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Visit or coordinate between project sites when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum four years of UAE HR experience.
  • Arabic speaking is mandatory.
  • Construction or contracting experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience handling site employees or labour workforces is strongly preferred.
  • Good understanding of employee relations, grievance handling, attendance, leave, and HR documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with employees from different nationalities and backgrounds.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • HRMS, ERP, or attendance-system experience is advantageous.
  • Strong coordination, documentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to handle employee concerns professionally and confidentially and willingness to work in a site-based environment.

Work Arrangement

  • Work location is in person and site based.
  • The role may require visiting or coordinating between project sites.

Compensation

  • Pay is AED 4,000–AED 5,000 per month.
