Role Overview
The Site Engineer - ELV plans, coordinates, supervises, and executes ELV installation activities.
The role covers ELV systems for projects in Hyderabad and requires compliance with drawings, specifications, quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of structured cabling, fiber optics, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, public address, intercom, data, audio-visual, BMS interfaces, and other ELV systems.
- Review shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, material specifications, and installation procedures.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and electrical, mechanical, civil, and ICT teams.
- Monitor site progress, manpower, resources, installation quality, technical issues, and project milestones.
- Oversee cable containment, cable pulling, equipment and network rack installation, termination, labeling, testing, and commissioning.
- Maintain progress reports, inspection records, testing documentation, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate system integration, factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, and final commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with quality and HSE requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline is required.
