About the Role

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on BYD electric vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot EV systems, including high voltage components and battery systems
- Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines and EV safety standards
- Complete repairs right the first time, minimizing vehicle downtime
- Perform vehicle inspections and support Electronic Vehicle Check (EVC) reporting
- Follow all high voltage safety procedures, workshop processes, and 5S standards
- Ensure efficient use of parts, tools, and workshop resources
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintain up to date knowledge of EV technology and the latest automotive innovations
Requirements
- Diploma, ITI, NCVT, ITC, or equivalent technical qualification
- 2–3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Service Technician, General Repair Technician, or EV Technician
- Hands on experience in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair
- Experience working on Electric Vehicles (EVs) or Hybrid Vehicles is highly preferred
- EV or High Voltage (HV) certification is an advantage
- Experience using manufacturer diagnostic tools and repair manuals
- Good understanding of electrical, electronic, and high voltage vehicle systems
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills in English

What You Will Do
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on BYD electric vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot EV systems, including high voltage components and battery systems
