About the Role

Responsibilities
- Deliver Yokogawa Technical Support Department commitments to customers
- Ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring process up time and system performance per contractual agreement
- Participate in add on/expansion service projects during Engineering, FAT, SAT, and commissioning phases
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of Yokogawa products, hardware and software upgrades
- Identify opportunities to provide additional services in the installed base
- Provide on site leadership for short or long duration assignments
- Provide 24x7 on call support as assigned
- Direct activities of other on site Yokogawa personnel in system problem resolution and startup/commissioning
- Submit weekly reports to Service management
- Provide troubleshooting and consultation support to field personnel on complex system problems
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Control Systems / Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics preferred)
- 5 10 years experience in Maintenance/Startup of Control Systems (DCS/ESD/SCADA) in Oil/Gas and Petrochemicals
- Experience with field instruments
- High commitment and ownership of assigned tasks
- Good customer handling capabilities
- Team player with positive energy
- Self initiator to learn new things
- Knowledge of IT basics and Microsoft Applications
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Job Purpose
- To provide services as per customer &/or contractual requirements, while leaving on Yokogawa reputation.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Deliver Yokogawa Technical Support Department (TSD) commitments to customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring process up time and system performance as per contractual agreement.
- Participate in add on / expansion service projects during Engineering phase, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and commissioning phases as required.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of Yokogawa’s portfolio of products, carry out hardware and software upgrades.
- Actively participate in Yokogawa’s TSD/RSD growth plans and identify opportunities to provide additional services in the installed base.
- Depending on business requirement, role can be on shore or off shore, short duration or long duration (e.g. resident site support engineer) and provide overall on site leadership.
- 24 x 7 on call support, as per assignment.
- Support any and all the Service department related activities as assigned by Department Management &/or Reporting Manager.
- Directs the activities of other on site Yokogawa personnel in the resolution of system problems and/or the startup and commissioning efforts.
- Submits weekly reports to Service management per need, e.g. regarding startup efforts, punch list items, assistance required from management and/or the resolution of system level problems.
- Provides a high order of troubleshooting and consultation support to field personnel on complex systems problems within his or her field of specialization.
- Provides Sales Representatives with client information regarding the sale of future Yokogawa solutions.
Qualification And Experience
- A Degree in Engineering Field preferably Control Systems / Instrumentation / Electrical; and Electronics.
- Preferably 5 10 years experience in the Maintenance/Startup of Control System / Experience in DCS/ESD/SCADA systems, particularly in Oil/Gas and Petrochemicals as well as field instruments.
- Experience working with OEMs will be an added advantage, particularly with prior Yokogawa experience.
