About the Role
Yokogawa seeks a Senior Engineer to implement Asset Management Solutions (InsightSuiteAE, PRM), Procedural Automation, and ICSS-APC/RTO/EMS interfaces for ADNOC projects. - Work closely with Advanced Solutions Department Manager for implementation of Asset Management Solutions – InsightSuiteAE, PRM, PRM Interface with BH System 1, Electrical Assets (E AMS), Asset Management System interface with ERP Systems (SAP)
- Take active role for implementing Procedural Automation solutions & Autonomous Operation, IA2IA for digitalization
- Developing ICSS – APC/RTO/EMS Interface in line to Project requirement
- Support implementing Terminal Automation System (TAS), Blending Automation Solution (PBS), and Movement Automation (OMAS) solutions for both engineering and commissioning
- Support in Base Layer Tuning and implementing Modern control application
- Support in implementation of Exaopc Solution for OPC Interfaces (both OEM and Third party applications)
- Multiple project co ordination and provision of technical support for successful completion of large Asset Management Systems (AMS), Modular Procedural Automation (MPA) projects
- Provide advisory and maintenance support including modifications to Control strategies to ensure availability of higher advanced solutions application modules
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering / Instrumentation & Control engineering
- At least 7 years' experience in Interface development in ICSS – APC RTO EMS interface
- Depth knowledge of working on DCS platforms, preferably Yokogawa DCS Centum VP system
- Process knowledge and experience working in P&IDs, PFD, control narrative and operational philosophy
- Proven ability to deliver value based solutions in digitalization
- ICSS depth knowledge in SFC/OP SFC/SEBOL/all functional blocks for developing solution interface with ICSS
- Ability to deliver solutions based on proficiency in P&IDs, PFD studies and process knowledge
- Good understanding of process plant operation and maintenance
- Proven track record of field experience and technical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Travel across all sites (ADNOC Offshore/Onshore) in the UAE region is required

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Multiple project co ordination and provision of technical support for the successful completion of large Asset Management Systems (AMS), Modular Procedural Automation (MPA) projects for various process units, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Provide advisory and maintenance support including carrying out modifications to the Control strategies to ensure the availability of higher advanced solutions application modules with high up time.
Qualification And Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering / Instrumentation & Control engineering with relevant engineering and experience in implementing high end solutions.
- At least 7 years' experience in Interface development in the areas of ICSS – APC RTO EMS interface.
- AMS implementation experience in Yokogawa ISAE software would be an added advantage.
- Procedural Automation implementation experience in Yokogawa – Exapilot would be an added advantage.
- Additional work experience in similar technologies such as Blending & Movement Automation, TAS, Planning and Scheduling and Refinery Analytics is preferable.
- Working experience in interfacing OPC/ OPC UA in different OEM software.
- Travel across all sites (ADNOC Offshore/Onshore) in the UAE region is required.
