Job Purpose
Acts as the liaison between customers and the service department.
Communicates vehicle problems, repair timelines, and customer concerns to the service team.
Provides customer service while identifying additional repair needs.
Responsibilities
- Advise customers about additional repairs and maintain vehicle booking and delivery-time registers.
- Arrange LPOs, close job cards, coordinate with the floor in charge, and follow up on deliveries.
- Receive customers, document complaints, arrange test drives, and provide approximate repair costs.
- Complete job cards with repair details, estimates, and delivery dates based on parts and manpower availability.
- Obtain quotation approvals, authorize repairs, verify completion, and obtain approval for newly identified repairs.
- Explain repair recommendations to customers and communicate customer requirements to mechanics.
Education and Experience
- Diploma or degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- Three to five years of experience as a Mechanical Service Advisor in the automobile industry.
Knowledge and Skills
- Customer service and sales-minded communication.
- Repair estimation, job card administration, quotation approvals, and repair scheduling.
- Effective communication with customers, technicians, and service teams.
