Role Overview
The Procurement Executive sources and negotiates goods and services for assigned categories.
The role supports quality, price, supplier relationships, and on-time delivery to originating departments.
Operational Responsibilities
- Fulfill RFQs through quotations, comparative analysis, and auctions where applicable.
- Ensure goods and services are supplied in full and on time.
- Support monthly savings targets with the Category Manager.
- Generate high-spend contracts and start renewals 90 days in advance.
- Introduce suppliers to reduce yearly service or product spend.
- Track year-to-date spend, perform ABC analysis, and recommend cost-reduction projects.
- Manage originating department complaints through the SCN.
- Update the approved supplier list and supplier ratings annually.
- Negotiate payment terms to improve liquidity and cash flow.
- Register new suppliers and update supplier details in Oracle.
- Generate online gate passes and coordinate JAFZA plant-entry approvals.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or procurement professional certification.
- Awareness of ERP systems operations, D365, and MS Office is preferred.
