Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide personalized food and beverage service throughout their experience.
• Communicate with Russian-speaking guests in Russian and understand their needs and preferences.
• Present menus, explain offerings, provide recommendations, and process orders accurately.
• Serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, promotions, ingredients, and beverage offerings.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond to feedback, and handle or escalate complaints professionally.
• Maintain clean, organized tables, service areas, and equipment.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, mise-en-place, and replenishment.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, stewarding, and other departments to ensure smooth service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and hotel standards.
• Promote additional food and beverage offerings where appropriate and support colleagues.
• Participate in training and perform other reasonable duties assigned by the F&B Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage operation experience is required, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a hospitality qualification is an advantage.
• Fluent Russian language skills are required.
• Good command of English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Candidates should be guest-focused, professional, well-groomed, and able to work in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.
