The resort has 391 guest rooms and suites, multiple food and beverage outlets, pools, a beach area, a health club, a spa, and a kids’ club.
Job Summary
The Learning & Development Manager reports to the Director of Talent and Culture and the Director.
The role identifies training needs, develops cost-effective initiatives, and monitors the application of hotel policies, standards, and procedures.
Learning and Development Responsibilities
- Ensure departmental orientation processes and appropriate new-hire training are in place.
- Supervise ongoing training initiatives, record training activity, and conduct training when needed.
- Coordinate new-hire orientation and emphasize guest service within the company culture.
- Develop annual training plans aligned with appraisals, development plans, and hotel objectives.
- Liaise with department heads regarding training requirements, attendance, and follow-up actions.
- Monitor the annual training budget and keep training expenses aligned with approved plans.
- Identify training needs from guest feedback, guest satisfaction surveys, and other sources.
- Publish training calendars, develop or source courses, and conduct scheduled training.
