Senior Web Developer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
• Develop responsive frontend applications and robust backend services, APIs, microservices, and integrations.
• Integrate AI and generative AI capabilities, including LLMs, AI APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Develop chatbots, intelligent search, content generation, summarization, and recommendation features.
• Implement RESTful APIs and, where required, GraphQL services.
• Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, security, and user experience.
• Deploy applications to cloud platforms and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Write maintainable code, conduct code reviews, guide junior developers, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate across the complete software development lifecycle and evaluate emerging web and AI technologies.

Frontend Skills

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• React.js, Angular, or Vue.js; responsive and mobile-first development; state management; and component-based architecture.
• REST and third-party API integration, UI/UX implementation, web performance optimization, browser compatibility, accessibility, and modern build tools.

Backend Skills

• Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET, with experience in one or more backend languages.
• RESTful API development, microservices, authentication and authorization, database design, SQL and NoSQL databases, and third-party integrations.
• Background processing, asynchronous programming, caching, performance optimization, error handling, logging, and monitoring.

AI and Generative AI

• Strong understanding of generative AI and large language models.
• AI/LLM API integration, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, AI chatbots, virtual assistants, AI agents, and tool or function calling.
• LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent frameworks; model evaluation, hallucination mitigation, and AI security are relevant areas.

Cloud and DevOps

• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Docker, containerization, cloud deployment, application monitoring, Git, and modern source-control practices.
• CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Kubernetes is an advantage.

Database and Security

• PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, or other database and caching technologies.
• Database indexing, query optimization, data integration, and API-based data processing.
• Secure coding, OWASP Top 10 awareness, OAuth 2.0, JWT, API security, encryption, and protection against AI-specific security risks.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of professional web or full-stack development experience.
• Strong frontend and backend development experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and at least one backend language.
• Enterprise-grade application deployment, REST API, database, AI integration, cloud, CI/CD, architecture, design pattern, and Agile/Scrum experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant cloud, AI, or software development certifications are advantageous.
