About the Role
NMDC Dredging & Marine is seeking a Senior Water/Stormwater Engineer to perform complex hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and design stormwater management systems. The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil or Environmental Engineering and 8-10 years of experience in water and stormwater infrastructure design.

Responsibilities
- Perform complex hydrologic and hydraulic modelling for water and stormwater infrastructure projects
- Design stormwater management systems, including detention basins, storm sewer networks, and outfall structures
- Prepare designs from feasibility studies, concept, preliminary, and detailed design stages through to construction supervision
- Ensure designs comply with local authority requirements and relevant engineering standards
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities, including Abu Dhabi and Dubai Municipalities, to obtain necessary approvals
- Collaborate closely with Geotechnical, Structural, Coastal, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery
- Support procurement activities and provide technical coordination during construction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Water and Stormwater Infrastructure Design, Procurement, and Construction Coordination
- Strong expertise in hydrological and hydraulic modelling and stormwater system design
- Experience working with UAE authorities and regulatory requirements is highly preferred
- Proficiency in one or more of: SWMM, Civil 3D, HEC HMS, HEC RAS, InfoWorks ICM, StormCAD
