About the Role
NMDC Dredging & Marine is hiring a Hydrographic Surveyor to support project survey teams on site. Responsibilities include resolving measurement discrepancies, equipment calibration, and ensuring adherence to design specifications.

Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in measurements
- Follow established policies and procedures to ensure effective functioning of the project survey team on site
- Assist the project survey team with mobilization, equipment calibration, execution, deliverables, and project close out
- Report any activities that could potentially affect survey operations to the Project Surveyor or Chief Surveyor
- Collaborate closely with the Survey Department to ensure construction projects adhere to design specifications
- Contribute to the preparation, standardization, and maintenance of Survey Guidelines and Procedures
- Assist with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of survey equipment, hardware, and software
- Ensure the safety of all employees; active participation in the safety program
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hydrography, Marine or Land Surveying, Geodetic Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the same or related industry
- Experience in dredging and reclamation projects is highly preferred
