Responsibilities
- Support the development and expansion of the metering solutions portfolio
- Engage in product design, development, testing, and validation
- Ensure compliance with metering standards, approvals, and certifications
- Work on smart metering communications and AMI solutions
- Support utility projects and provide technical customer support
- Contribute to product management and roadmap development
- Conduct technical evaluations, tender support, and customer engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field
- Minimum 7 10 years of experience in water and/or gas metering technologies
- Strong understanding of ultrasonic metering technologies and flow measurement principles
- Experience in product design, testing, validation, and certification of metering products
- Knowledge of smart metering systems and AMI solutions
- Experience with metering standards, approvals, and certifications (MID, OIML, ATEX/IECEx, etc.)
- Knowledge of communication technologies such as NB IoT, LoRaWAN, LTE M, wM Bus, or similar
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international environment
- Willingness to travel internationally when required

Job Overview
- EDMP is seeking an experienced Senior Water & Gas Metering Engineer to support the development and expansion of our metering solutions portfolio.

Qualifications & Skills

Preferred Background
- Candidates with substantial experience in European, UK, North/South American, Australian, New Zealand, Middle Eastern, or Africa utility markets will be highly preferred.
- Experience with utility companies, meter manufacturers, and large scale AMI deployments is a strong advantage.
