• EDMP is seeking an experienced Smart Metering Systems – Solution Specialist to lead the end-to-end delivery of our smart metering software solutions across EMEA and Latin America.
• This role offers responsibility across multiple smart metering projects, from pre-sales sizing and technical scoping to implementation, integration, commissioning, SLA management, and ongoing consulting support.
• The successful candidate will act as a key technical and operational authority across EDMP’s smart metering software ecosystem.
• 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Lead lifecycle implementation of smart metering systems across multiple concurrent projects
• Translate utility business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and integration of HES, MDMS, KMS, CIS, STS Vending platforms, Asset Management and mobile applications
• Manage KPIs, SLA performance, and continuous system optimization
• Provide advisory support on AMI optimization, grid modernization, and AI/ML analytics
• Coordinate projects across diverse regions, regulatory environments, and field teams
• Support technical consultations and solution design discussions
• 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
• 10+ years of experience in Smart Metering / AMI systems
• Proven experience managing contractual SLAs and KPIs across multi-country projects
• Experience working with Asset Management, HES, MDMS, STS prepayment systems, and utility integrations
• Experience working with utilities across EMEA regions is an advantage
• Previous exposure to international and client-facing project environments is highly valued
• 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀
• Strong understanding of meter communication technologies (PLC, RF, Cellular)
• Knowledge of DLMS protocol and utility cybersecurity practices
• Experience with Oracle and open-source databases
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills are essential
• High degree of professionalism, accountability, and commitment
• 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Candidates with international utility project experience are highly preferred
• Ability to work effectively within multicultural and geographically distributed teams
