Role Purpose
Lead and manage end-to-end warehouse operations for optimal workflow, accuracy, and efficiency.
Oversee multiple warehouse teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure compliance with company standards, safety policies, and regulations.
Support the Warehouse Manager in achieving strategic and operational goals.
Operations and Inventory
- Oversee inbound, outbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and return processes.
- Plan workloads, allocate manpower, monitor KPIs, and address operational performance gaps.
- Enforce SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage stock receipt verification, movement tracking, cycle counts, audits, storage, and inventory accuracy.
- Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Team and Process Leadership
- Supervise multiple teams and shift leaders across warehouse functions and shifts.
- Provide coaching, training, skill development, performance reviews, and disciplinary support.
- Promote accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Support new processes, productivity initiatives, system enhancements, and warehouse layout optimization.
- Participate in WMS enhancements, data validation, and troubleshooting.
Coordination and Reporting
- Coordinate with logistics, transportation, procurement, and customer service teams.
- Prepare daily operational reports, KPI summaries, incident analyses, and workflow updates.
- Communicate priorities, challenges, and progress to team leaders and associates.
- Support special projects, urgent orders, and service-level commitments.
Safety and Facilities
- Coordinate warehouse safety programs and enforce occupational health and safety compliance.
- Maintain facility cleanliness, organization, and hazard-free operation across shifts.
- Oversee warehouse equipment use, routine maintenance, and servicing.
- Monitor operational expenses and support cost-efficient resource planning.
Requirements
- High school diploma is required; a Logistics, Supply Chain, or related diploma or degree is preferred.
- 4–6 years of warehouse experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or senior supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse best practices, inventory management, and WMS or ERP systems.
- Ability to manage large teams across multiple functions and shifts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to operational priorities.
- Willingness to work flexible or rotational shifts as required.
