About the Role
The Central Bank of the UAE is seeking a Senior Vice President to oversee internally managed portfolios of foreign exchange reserves, investing in government bonds, SSAs, gold, FX, and money markets.

Responsibilities
- Take investment positions and execute financial operations in accordance with CBUAE Risk Framework
- Propose, develop and implement new investment strategies
- Monitor and analyse portfolio positions and risk parameters against benchmarks
- Prepare high quality reports for senior management on market developments and investment activity
- Contribute to innovation initiatives including automation and quantitative tool development
- Contribute to strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- University Degree in Economics, Finance, Sciences or related field
- Relevant professional certifications such as CFA/ACI/CAIA desirable
- At least 7 years of relevant fixed income management experience with buy side institutions
- Experience in actively managing fixed income, foreign exchange/money markets and gold bullion
- Deep understanding of global economy and financial market trends
- Strong analytical/quantitative skills
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
