Responsibilities
- Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of governance policies and frameworks
- Manage scheduling, coordination, and logistics of Board and Committee meetings
- Prepare, review, and distribute high quality materials to Board and Committee members
- Draft, document, and distribute Board and Committee decisions
- Monitor and follow up on implementation status of decisions
- Review and validate technical content of presentations and reports
- Serve as primary point of contact for Board and Committee members
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Identify and implement enhancements to Secretariat processes
- Contribute to development of performance frameworks for Executive Committees
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Law, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in a regulatory organization
- Prior experience handling Executive Committees in large organizations including Risk, Corporate Governance, Legal Advisory
- Any relevant professional certifications or memberships

Job Overview
- The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) is the supervisory and regulatory authority of the banking and insurance sector in the UAE.
- CBUAE is hiring a Senior Manager for the General Secretariat Department to manage governance, compliance, and operational excellence for Board and Committee activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of governance policies and frameworks.
- Ensure all Board and Committee activities adhere to corporate governance principles and regulatory standards.
- Independently manage scheduling, coordination, and logistics of Board and Committee meetings.
- Prepare, review, and ensure timely distribution of high quality materials to Board and Committee members.
- Collect, organize, and prepare memorandums and supporting documents for meetings.
- Draft, document, and distribute Board and Committee decisions.
- Monitor and follow up on implementation status of decisions.
- Ensure all decisions comply with Delegation of Authority.
- Review and validate technical content of presentations and reports.
- Maintain quality control over meeting materials.
- Serve as primary point of contact for Board and Committee members.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Law, Accounting, or related field.
- Any relevant professional certifications or memberships.
- Minimum 6+ years’ relevant experience with prioritization in Regulatory organization.
- Prior experience handling Executive Committees in large organizations including Risk, Corporate Governance, Legal Advisory.
