Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Senior Urban Design Manager for large-scale urban development projects.
The role leads visioning, concept development, and early-stage master planning.
The position focuses on creating compelling urban visions and innovative places that shape communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead visioning, pre-concept, and concept design stages for urban design and master planning projects.
- Develop innovative master plans, urban design strategies, and development concepts.
- Produce and review sketches, diagrams, 3D models, and visual presentations.
- Conduct site analysis, benchmarking, and feasibility studies.
- Collaborate with architects, landscape architects, visualization specialists, and development teams.
- Present design concepts and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the urban design team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 10–12+ years of experience in urban design and master planning focused on concept design and visioning.
- Previous experience with leading international consultancy firms.
