Role Overview
A leading real estate developer in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager.
The employer specialises in master plan development and project management.
The role oversees contracts for large-scale development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contracts with consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead contract administration, variations, claims, and commercial negotiations.
- Prepare and monitor cost reports, budgets, forecasts, and commercial updates.
- Review payment applications, variations, change orders, and contractual entitlements.
- Administer contracts in line with project requirements, commercial objectives, and contractual obligations.
- Resolve contractual and commercial issues with project teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Monitor project costs and provide clear commercial reporting to senior management.
- Support tendering, contract awards, and ongoing contractual documentation.
Requirements
- Strong developer-side or PMC-side experience in contracts or commercial management.
- Proven experience managing consultants and contractors on major development projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost reporting, variations, claims, and commercial management.
- Experience with residential and mixed-use development projects.
- UAE real estate or development experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
