Position Overview
Lead telecommunications engineering delivery on assigned design engineering and EPC projects.

Location and Employment
- The position is based in Doha, Qatar.

- The role may include short-term or extended site assignments for commissioning, installation, and site activities.
Engineering and Technical Leadership
- Lead and coordinate telecommunications engineering activities across assigned projects.
- Prepare and review specifications, design documents, calculations, and engineering deliverables.
- Conduct technical reviews, verify design accuracy, and resolve telecommunications engineering issues.
- Oversee CCTV, security, fiber optic, radio, PAGA/PA, structured cabling, and communications infrastructure systems.
Procurement and Vendor Management
- Prepare and review requisitions for complex telecommunications equipment and materials.
- Support vendor selection through technical bid evaluations and procurement collaboration.
- Participate in vendor meetings and conduct or witness factory acceptance tests when required.
Project Coordination
- Develop engineering plans, schedules, and resource allocations for the telecommunications scope.
- Lead weekly project meetings and report technical issues and progress.
- Coordinate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders.
- Prepare progress reports, CTR estimates, and proposal contributions.
Client and Site Support
- Serve as the primary liaison with client representatives on telecommunications matters.
- Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and issue-resolution meetings.
- Support commissioning, installation, and site activities through assigned site work.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 10 years of telecommunications engineering experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated expertise with telecommunications standards, codes, and industry practices.
- Proficiency in engineering software and digital tools used for telecommunications design and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering.
Licenses and Preferred Certification
- MME/MMUP/UPDA Qatar Engineering License is required or must be in progress.
- EIT or PE certification is preferred.
