About the Role
The Emirates Group seeks a Senior Technical Services Engineer to lead cabin technical management and reconfigurations for its aircraft fleet in Dubai.

Responsibilities
- Manage Cabin / fleet technical management, continuing airworthiness management and technical support functions for assigned section (Airframe, Structures, Avionics, PowerPlant, Cabin Interior)
- Manage resource/task allocation and provide direction to the respective Technical Services team and define sectional KPIs
- Implement Technical verification process and approval for content/completeness of internal engineering documents
- Approve initiated actions to improve fleet/engine/component/system reliability and maintainability
- Exercise CVE privileges of Part 21 Design Organisation as appointed by Head of Design
- Manage team performance by executing people management activities including performance management
- Review and approve evaluation of new aircraft/engines for introduction on in service fleet
- Manage technical and operational support to internal stakeholders such as handling technical/AOG, troubleshooting aircraft chronic and deferred defects
- Act as functional lead for project management functions including major modifications, retrofits, cabin reconfigurations and aircraft phaseout
- Lead support activities for acquisition of new aircraft and end of lease activities
Requirements
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronics Engineering and/or holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence for 5 years
- At least 10 years of experience in Engineering, Aeronautical
- Minimum of 10 years in Technical Services function of which at least 8 years of experience pertaining to multiple Emirates fleet type/aircraft systems
- Knowledge of latest technical developments and industry trends on respective systems
- Ability to analyse and synthesise technical information for implementation in cost effective ways
- Excellent drafting/report writing skills
- Demonstrable experience in managing complex tasks and decision making in a fast paced environment

Job Purpose
- The Engineering Technical Services (ETS) department ensures optimal performance for one of the world's most advanced aircraft fleets.
- We focus on fleet technical management, airworthiness, and technical support to uphold safety, reliability, cost effectiveness, and passenger comfort.
- As a Senior Technical Services Engineer (Cabin Technical and Reconfigurations) you will lead the team of Cabin / Technical Services personnel in providing fleet technical management, continuing airworthiness management and technical support functions for Emirates fleet.
Responsibilities
- Manage Cabin / fleet technical management, continuing airworthiness management and technical support functions for assigned section, ie. Airframe, Structures, Avionics, PowerPlant and Cabin Interior.
- Manage resource/task allocation and provide direction to the respective Technical Services team and define sectional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Implement Technical verification process and approval for content/completeness of internal engineering documents initiated post evaluation of manufacturers/regulatory authorities documents.
- Approve initiated actions to improve fleet / engine, component and/or system reliability and maintainability including optimisation of aircraft maintenance programs.
- Exercise CVE privileges of Part 21 Design Organisation as appointed by Head of Design (HOD), by carrying out Emirates Engineering design organisational activities.
- Manage team performance by executing people management activities including performance management.
- Review and approve evaluation of new aircraft/engines for introduction on in service fleet, technical clarifications/justification to internal stakeholders, contract negotiation, cost optimisation, repairs and modifications.
- Manage technical and operational support to internal stakeholders such as handling technical/AOG, troubleshooting aircraft chronic and deferred defects and technical delays.
- Act as functional lead for project management functions including but not limited to major modifications, retrofits, cabin reconfigurations and aircraft phaseout requirements.
- Lead support activities for acquisition of new aircraft and end of lease activities.
Qualification
