Job Description

  • Seeking a Senior Recruiter to join Talent Acquisition team in Canada
  • Lead full cycle recruitment for a variety of positions with focus on Energy & Natural Resources roles
  • Additional exposure to Infrastructure and Real Estate portfolios

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full cycle recruitment for technical and project focused roles, primarily within Energy & Natural Resources
  • Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers by providing market insights and shaping recruitment strategies
  • Conduct intake meetings to define requirements, hiring timelines, success profiles, and selection criteria
  • Source, attract, and engage top talent through proactive outreach, market mapping, competitor research, and relationship building
  • Drive an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication and transparent process management
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring, high priority, and niche roles
  • Collaborate with the broader TA team to support recruitment initiatives and diversity focused sourcing efforts
  • Provide coaching and support to junior team members as needed

Qualifications

  • 5 6+ years of full cycle recruitment experience, ideally within technical, engineering, construction or energy/natural resources environments
  • Proven ability to recruit for technical and project based roles and engage passive candidates
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to provide strategic guidance and influence decisions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency using ATS and recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Talent Insights
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a related field is considered an asset
