Responsibilities
- Develop IT solutions that meet customer requirements, ensuring robust, high quality design conforming to corporate standards
- Ensure solution meets service level requirements for availability, capacity, continuity, security, performance, and reliability
- Develop solution architectures for assigned projects with established EA standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement ongoing monitoring of relevant technology
- Guide Project Manager/Technology team managers for solution definition, technical design and development
- Ensure assigned incidents are resolved within agreed service levels and problems are defined and analysed
- Publish and maintain high quality documentation and data catalogue for the technology area
- Manage End of life replacement of equipment and/or software
- Ensure process and enhancement specifications are translated into effective programs
Requirements
- Degree or Honours in Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
- 5+ years working in a related IT Engineering role
- Expertise in designing and managing scalable, resilient, and automated private cloud platforms
- Proficiency in building API driven self service capabilities
- Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline development and management

In This Role You Will

- Ensure that the developed architecture/solution meets the service level requirements.
- Develop solution architectures for assigned projects with the established EA standards.
- Collaborate with other IT Technology teams to implement ongoing monitoring.

Qualifications
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
- 5+ Years working in a related IT Engineering
Knowledge/Skills
- Expertise in designing and managing scalable, resilient, and automated private cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in building API driven self service capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation frameworks.
- Hands on experience in implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline development and management for infrastructure automation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with application teams, DevOps engineers, security specialists, and cloud architects.
- Experience in leading automation and modernization initiatives across on premises, hybrid, and multi cloud environments.
- Knowledge of self service automation capabilities and their integration with service management.
- Proficiency in automating backup, disaster recovery, and failover processes.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and IT governance principles.
- Experience in designing and implementing X as a Service (XaaS) offerings.
- Knowledge of service catalog development and management for infrastructure and cloud services.
