Senior Systems Engineer / Network Engineer (Micro Focus NA & NNMi, OpenText) - Chantilly, Virginia, United States

•TS/SCI w/ CI Poly Clearance

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field suggested but not required.

•Certifications in Micro Focus NA, NNMi, OpenText, CCNP/CCNA, or ITIL strongly preferred.

•10+ years of IT experience, with extensive work in systems engineering and network engineering.

•Hands-on experience with Micro Focus NA and NNMi (deployment, configuration, tuning, and support).

•Experience with OpenText or other Micro Focus enterprise tools in IT operations or content management environments.

•Strong understanding of network protocols, fault management, performance monitoring, and automation. Previous experience with other NMS tools is highly desirable.

•Prior experience in defense, government, or large enterprise environments highly desirable.

•Advanced technical expertise in network automation, systems integration, and enterprise monitoring tools.

•Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or similar) for automation tasks.

•Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

•Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

•Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, hybrid IT environments) preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $150,000.00 to $170,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
