Role overview
Fortinet is seeking a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to support enterprise accounts in north India.
The role provides technical support across pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales activities for cybersecurity solutions.
Accountabilities
- Qualify technical sales leads, respond to RFP compliance requirements, prepare cross-references, and attend pre-bid meetings.
- Serve as a technical resource on sales calls and explain solution features, specifications, functionality, and integration.
- Resolve customer technical issues through the escalation process with support and engineering teams.
- Train channel partners and provide technical expertise and oversight on Fortinet solutions.
- Design complex systems engineering configurations and create proof-of-concept customer documentation.
- Support customer and partner presentations, case studies, white papers, and media articles.
- Lead strategic opportunities and provide consultative support aligned with customer business objectives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, sales, and technical support teams.
Technical focus
- Relevant solutions include SD-WAN, next-generation firewall, application delivery, SASE, web application firewall, ZTNA, EDR/XDR, SIEM, and SOAR.
- The role also covers mobile core security solutions such as GiFW, CGN, and SecGW.
