Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and execute qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments for workplaces, tasks, and job positions.
- Provide feedback to areas with high risks on risk assessment reports.
- Provide technical support to define action plans to reduce or eliminate unacceptable exposures, follow up on plans, and assist departments in correcting deviations.
- Analyze the results of qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments and update the sampling schedule, taking into account engineering controls implemented or substantial environmental changes.
- Provide technical support for selecting and approving PPEs related to health risk, conducting trials, and implementing them at shop floor level.
- Create and maintain a system for all occupational hygiene equipment and accessories to ensure correct functioning, maintenance, and calibration of sampling equipment.
- Plan, schedule, and execute health and hygiene inspections of welfare facilities and plant areas.
- Recommend corrective actions and follow up with departments on action plans.
- Define and manage occupational hygiene training needs organisation wide, prepare training packages, and conduct training sessions to comply with the training plan.
