About the Role
Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) is looking for an Instrument Technician for its Power and Desalination plant in Dubai. The role involves attending to field instrumentation breakdowns, performing planned maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities
- Attend to power and desalination plant field instrumentation breakdowns and planned maintenance work with minimum direction and supervision
- Technically assess the requirement of allocated jobs and select necessary tools and equipment
- Order spare parts from warehouse using computerized maintenance system and maintain records of all maintenance work completed
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures and plant operational requirements
- Report repeated breakdowns and assist in RCFA to identify optimum solutions
- Provide on the job training to new craftsmen to equip them with necessary skills
Requirements
- Experience in attending to power and desalination plant field instrumentation breakdowns and planned maintenance
- Ability to technically assess job requirements and select necessary tools and equipment
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance systems to order spare parts and maintain records
- Knowledge of safety procedures and plant operational requirements
