Responsibilities
- Attend to all electrical equipment breakdowns such as LV MV motors, LV Switchboards, MCCs, Plant lightings, Transformers, UPS, VFD, Breakers, Soft starter
- Carry out planned/preventive/predictive maintenance work with minimum direction and supervision
- Identify and report any abnormalities; repair and/or replace required items and re assemble and test equipment
- Technically assess the requirement of allocated jobs and select necessary tools and equipment
- Effectively diagnose electrical breakdowns/failures and troubleshoot electrical failures of plant and equipment
- Order spare parts from warehouse using SAP and maintain records of all maintenance work completed
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures and plant operational requirements
- Monitor repeated breakdowns and recommend proper modifications to resolve problems
- Provide plant and equipment knowledge to newly joined electricians/craft trainees and contractors
- Continuously work towards improving EHS and Plant & Equipment Performance by participating in 5S, Business Excellence and Safety Initiatives
- Perform other related duties as communicated by Supervisor/Superior
- Assist other departments in the repair and troubleshooting of equipment
Requirements
- Experience in attending to electrical equipment breakdowns such as LV MV motors, LV Switchboards, MCCs, Plant lightings, Transformers, UPS, VFD, Breakers, Soft starter
- Ability to carry out planned/preventive/predictive maintenance work with minimum direction and supervision
- Proficiency in diagnosing electrical breakdowns and troubleshooting electrical failures
- Experience with computerized maintenance system (SAP) to order spare parts and maintain records
- Knowledge of safety procedures and plant operational requirements

Responsibilities

- Using the computerized maintenance system (SAP), orders the spare parts from warehouse and maintains records of all maintenance work completed
- Ensures that all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with the safety procedures and plant operational requirements
