Responsibilities
- Drive formulation and implementation of operational & technical training strategies aligned with EGA's overall strategy
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental management policies within the department
- Oversee design and management of comprehensive training curriculum for operational and technical skill development
- Manage Labour Training pool and National Trainees (approx. 150 and 140 respectively)
- Prepare and recommend annual budget for Technical and Operations Training (approx. $4 5M)
- Lead identification and development of modern training tools (AR, VR, MR, simulators)
Requirements
- Experience in developing and implementing operational and technical training strategies
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental compliance
- Experience managing training budgets (approx. $4 5M)
- Experience with Emiratisation initiatives and national trainee programs

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Development: Drive formulation and implementation of operational & technical training strategies
- Safety, Quality, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and environmental management policies
- Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all training programs meet international and local regulatory standards
- Training Management: Oversee design and management of comprehensive training curriculum
- Training Innovation and strategy: Lead identification and development of modern training tools (AR, VR, MR, simulators)
- On Job Excellence: Lead design and execution of On Job Excellence program with 30 on job coaches
- Budget Management: Prepare and recommend annual budget (approx. $4 5M)
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with various plant areas to align training with operational needs
- Emiratisation Initiatives: Design and implement technical training programs for National trainees
- Staff Development: Coach and mentor Technical and Operational Training staff
- Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to HC management on training plans and progress
