The Senior Staff Software Engineer is a technical cornerstone responsible for complex distributed microservices powering an enterprise ecosystem.
The role combines hands-on engineering, systems architecture, code quality, modern development practices, and AI-driven delivery methods.
Core Responsibilities
- Design scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Build maintainable cloud-native microservices using C#, Java, or Python with .NET Core emphasis.
- Map complex enterprise integrations across disparate systems.
- Drive Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift containerization and orchestration.
- Own CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and JFrog Artifactory.
- Champion code reviews, testing frameworks, REST API standards, and performance improvements.
- Use AWS and AWS CDK for secure, automated cloud infrastructure.
- Mentor peers and integrate AI tools into engineering workflows.
Technical Qualifications
- 5+ years in large-scale enterprise software environments.
- 5+ years of hands-on development in C#, Java, or Python, with strong .NET Core experience in cloud environments.
- Expertise in distributed systems design, caching, asynchronous messaging, and design patterns.
- Strong Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift experience.
- AWS and Infrastructure as Code experience using AWS CDK, Python, or equivalent.
- Deep REST API, API security, automated testing, and automation framework experience.
- Expertise with GitHub Actions or Workflows, Jenkins, and JFrog Artifactory.
Leadership and Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to understand complex legacy and modern system architectures and communicate technical trade-offs clearly.
- Strong commitment to code design, refactoring, and engineering discipline.
- AI-assisted coding and spec-driven development experience are preferred.
- AI agents, LLM APIs, or RAG framework knowledge is a plus.
