- Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and resource plans
- Lead the execution of technical projects from concept to completion
- Manage cross functional teams, ensuring tasks are aligned and progress is on track
- Mentor and guide engineers and project staff to meet technical and schedule goals
- Serve as the main point of contact between engineering, clients, suppliers, and management
- Ensure clear communication of expectations, progress, and changes
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans
- Address technical and project related issues proactively
- Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and cost control
- Report deviations and take corrective actions when needed
- Ensure technical quality and compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements
- Oversee critical reviews, validation activities, and integration efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems) or related technical field
- Minimum 7+ years managing technical projects or leading engineering workstreams
- Solid understanding of relevant industry (e.g., aerospace, defense, automotive) and its engineering practices
- Knowledge of project lifecycle phases: design, development, testing, production, and delivery
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO, ASME, MIL STD, FAA)
- Competency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and documentation

Education / Experience
- Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems), or a related technical field.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum are highly valued.
- Minimum Experience: 7+ years managing technical projects or leading engineering workstreams.
- Must have solid understanding of the relevant industry (e.g., aerospace, defense, automotive) and its engineering practices.
- Knowledge of project lifecycle phases: design, development, testing, production, and delivery.
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO, ASME, MIL STD, FAA, or other sector specific regulations).
- Competency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and documentation.
