- Bachelor's degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
- 6+ years of experience with Master's degree (8+ years with Bachelor's degree)

Job Purpose
- Manage scheduling and related analysis for urban, feeder, intercity, cost sharing and seasonal bus services so plans reflect RTA and PTA policies, operational realities and service quality needs.
Roles & Accountabilities
- Schedule urban, feeder, intercity, cost sharing and seasonal bus routes in line with RTA/PTA policies.
- Solve scheduling related issues innovatively and provide workable solutions to complaints.
- Engage PTA stakeholders, Marketing and Corporate Communication, and committees to prioritize schedules.
- Analyze bus running time data and other factors affecting public transport operations.
- Review existing and proposed schedules to improve service quality and equalise driver work hours.
- Coordinate with OCC and bus operations for trip analysis, monitoring of schedule adherence.
- Coordinate with the scheduling system vendor when performance issues arise.
- Create and maintain public bus network and operations databases in the scheduling system.
- Streamline complex scheduling processes and procedures using analytical thinking.
- Initiate and support tasks and projects that improve scheduling approaches.
- Use insights from data analysis, complaints and stakeholder feedback to propose enhancements.
- Evaluate service reliability by comparing planned and actual running times, conducting field surveys.
Physical Working Conditions
- Work primarily in an office environment using scheduling systems, with regular coordination meetings with OCC, bus operations and vendors that may require occasional on site or virtual sessions.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
Experience
- 6+ years in case of Master's degree (8+ years in case of Bachelor’s degree).
Required Nationality
- UAE National Only.
