About the Role
GCAA seeks a Senior Specialist to lead aircraft accident/incident investigations. The role involves managing investigation teams, conducting safety studies, and representing the UAE internationally.

Responsibilities
- Lead investigation teams for major/complex aircraft accidents in UAE.
- Conduct investigations into less severe accidents, serious incidents, and incidents.
- Conduct safety studies/research for identifying aviation safety risks.
- Conduct special/limited scope safety investigations as requested.
- Represent UAE in investigations conducted by other States.
- Determine initial response actions as Duty Investigator.
- Assure accident investigators comply with site safety procedures.
- Conduct insight analysis of human and organizational factors.
- Lead investigation teams for State/military/police air accidents upon request.
- Lead investigation teams for other States upon official request.
- Manage preparation of investigation Final Report.
- Manage teams and working groups for projects relevant to GCAA strategic plan.
Requirements
- Experience in leading aircraft accident/incident investigations
- Knowledge of human and organizational factors in engineering
- Ability to represent UAE in international investigations
- Experience in drafting standards, policies, and procedures
- Mentoring and assessment skills
