Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, high-performance web services using Java.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate web services into applications.
• Implement RESTful APIs for client-side and server-side communication.
• Apply standards and best practices for service reliability, robustness, and security.
• Optimize performance and scalability using caching, load balancing, and database optimization.
• Coordinate with product managers, architects, and QA engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Stay current with Java development and web services technologies.

Required Qualifications

• 6–8 years of IT experience, including at least 6 years of strong Java proficiency.
• Solid web services development knowledge, including RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on Spring Boot experience for building and deploying web services.
• Strong authentication and authorization knowledge using Spring Security and JWT.
• Working knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, and Hibernate or other ORM frameworks.
• Practical Linux command proficiency.
• Strong web security knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Git and ADO.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Capability to work with Swing, AWT, JavaFX, and Java desktop applications.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and team collaboration skills.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Angular knowledge is preferred.
• Microservices architecture experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
• Docker and Kubernetes knowledge is preferred.
• Agile development experience and certification in Java or related technologies are preferred.
