Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst - ServiceNow will define product requirements and steer end-to-end delivery for a ServiceNow implementation.
The role shapes scope, surfaces risks, aligns schedules, and partners with engineering, QA, and product teams.
The role supports software build, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Identify stakeholders and collect input to define and refine requirements.
- Own scope definition across the full program.
- Create and maintain program and project management documentation.
- Collaborate with software engineers, QA, product managers, and engineering teams across the software lifecycle.
- Serve as scrum master, manage schedules, flag issues, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Drive release schedules and milestones in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide hands-on software development and project management, cross-functional coordination, and team communications.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of overall IT experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in business analysis, emerging technologies, or related technical areas.
- At least 1 year of direct ServiceNow implementation experience.
- Experience managing end-to-end programs spanning multiple engineering teams with software development exposure.
- Working knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, and HRSD.
- Practical experience using Agile software development methodologies.
- Scrum master experience leading development sprints.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Software engineering experience is desirable.
- Problem-solving experience in fast-paced and constantly changing environments is desirable.
- Cross-functional experience with technical and non-technical team members is desirable.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences is desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are desirable.
