Senior Software Engineer - Java with Cloud - AWS

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, high-performance web services using Java.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate web services into web applications.
• Implement RESTful APIs for reliable client-side and server-side communication.
• Ensure reliability, robustness, and security through standards and best practices.
• Optimize performance and scalability with caching, load balancing, and database optimization.
• Coordinate with product managers, architects, and QA engineers on software delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and enforce coding standards.
• Stay current with Java development and web services trends.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of IT experience, including at least 6 years of strong Java proficiency.
• Experience developing web services and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on Spring Boot experience for building and deploying web services.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, Spring Security, JWT, and web security.
• Working knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, and Hibernate.
• Proficiency with Linux commands and version control systems such as Git and ADO.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work with Swing, AWT, JavaFX, and Java desktop applications.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Angular and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile development methodologies.
• Certification in Java programming or related technologies.
