Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, high-performance web services using Java.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate web services into web applications.
• Implement RESTful APIs for reliable client-side and server-side communication.
• Ensure service reliability, robustness, and security through standards and best practices.
• Optimize performance and scalability using caching, load balancing, and database optimization.
• Coordinate with product managers, architects, and QA engineers to deliver software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and enforce coding standards.
• Stay current with Java development and web services trends.

Requirements

• Six to eight years of IT experience, including at least six years of strong Java proficiency.
• Solid understanding of web services development and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on Spring Boot experience for building and deploying web services.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization using Spring Security and JWT.
• Working knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, and Hibernate.
• Practical Linux proficiency and strong web security knowledge.
• Experience with Git, ADO, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Capability to work with Swing, AWT, JavaFX, and Java desktop applications.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level, B2, or higher.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Angular, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Agile development methodologies, or certification in Java programming or related technologies.
