Role Overview
Deltek is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Replicon Core team in Calgary.
The team builds products for project-based businesses and includes full-stack developers, architects, and developing engineers.
The role offers opportunities to use AI tools for coding, testing, debugging, and development workflow automation.
Position Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and ship features across UI components, RESTful APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Architect scalable, highly available systems using AWS, Docker, and Terraform.
- Maintain software quality through CI/CD, test automation, and code quality standards.
- Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes and performance improvements.
- Apply microservice architecture and serverless computing for systems serving potentially millions of users.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
AI-Powered Development
- Use Anthropic Claude for code generation, technical documentation, and automated testing.
- Use AI-assisted debugging tools to accelerate production issue identification and resolution.
