Role overview
Delivery Hero is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join its team in Riyadh.
The role is intended for a significant individual contributor and strong team player who can make a direct impact through native Android engineering.
Core responsibilities
- Analyse product requirements, evaluate technical feasibility, estimate effort and define solutions with the Product Team.
- Build development components and manage programming of solution components.
- Document coding steps for future modification and maintenance.
- Write unit, integration and UI or snapshot tests.
- Investigate and resolve issues and bugs through patches and other corrective measures.
- Collaborate on code reviews and deliver code review reports.
- Perform functional and module testing on delivered solutions.
- Monitor and report on product development and recommend improvements.
- Assist with user trials and acceptance testing.
Required experience
- At least five years of software development experience.
- Strong foundation in design patterns and algorithms.
- Deep expertise in native Android development.
- Experience delivering high-quality, testable code using modern mobile architectures.
