Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and extend Alfresco Process Services solutions and enterprise applications.
• Analyze and modernize workflows, business processes, permissions, repositories, business rules, and templates.
• Build Alfresco integrations, RESTful APIs, Java and Spring Boot backend services, and microservices-based applications.
• Participate in platform upgrades, provide technical guidance, and translate stakeholder requirements into solutions.
• Create automated tests and resolve application and production issues through completion.

Requirements

• At least eight years of software development experience with significant Java and enterprise application expertise.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Expertise is required in Alfresco Process Services, Alfresco Application Development Framework, Alfresco customization, and workflow development.
• Experience is required with enterprise process management, external integrations, content management, permissions, repositories, and ADF customizations.
• Proficiency is required in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, backend services, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering best practices is required.

Technical skills

• Core technologies include Alfresco Process Services, Alfresco Application Development Framework, Java, Spring Boot, Angular, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• The role uses workflow management, process automation, content management, automated testing, and enterprise application development.
