Motorola Solutions’ Video Division develops AI-based surveillance systems and video analytics products, including Appearance Search, Unusual Motion Detection, and Avigilon Cloud Service.
Job Description
The Senior Software Developer will work with C++ and C# in on-premise or cloud platform environments.
The role provides hands-on technical leadership in new product development and maintenance activities.
The position focuses on complex, large-scale public-facing applications and APIs, with exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation.
Workplace
- The position is based in Vancouver, BC, requires residence in the Greater Vancouver area, and follows a hybrid schedule requiring office attendance.
- Travel and relocation support are not provided.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to a high-performing Scrum team and develop Avigilon Unity Video Products.
- Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and support for a culture of continuous learning.
- Define and execute build pipelines, containerization, DevOps tooling, and test automation.
