We are seeking a
Senior Site Interior Designer
to oversee the execution of interior design works on site, ensuring that the design intent is accurately translated into built form.
This role requires a strong balance of
design understanding, technical knowledge, and site experience
, with the ability to coordinate closely with contractors, consultants, and project teams to deliver high-quality interiors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
- Minimum
- 8–12 years of experience
- , with strong
- site-based experience
- Proven track record on
- hospitality and/or high-end residential projects
- Strong understanding of
- joinery, finishes, and interior detailing
- Experience in the
- UAE or GCC market
- is highly preferred
Site Supervision & Execution
- Monitor on-site interior works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and design intent
- Conduct regular site inspections and report on progress, quality, and any deviations
- Ensure works are executed in line with project timelines and quality standards
Design Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and suppliers
- Review and comment on
- shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups
- Resolve site-related design and technical issues in a timely manner
Quality Control
- Ensure high-quality execution of finishes, materials, and detailing
- Identify and address defects, non-conformities, and inconsistencies
- Maintain design integrity throughout all stages of construction
Material & Finishes Management
- Review and approve materials, samples, and finishes in line with design specifications
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for procurement and installation
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare site reports, snagging lists, and progress updates
- Track RFIs, site instructions, and variation requests
- Maintain proper documentation of site activities
Client & Stakeholder Interaction
- Support client meetings and site walkthroughs
- Communicate progress and design updates to stakeholders
- Ensure client expectations are met throughout execution
