The Senior SAP Finance, Lease Accounting and Tax Compliance Integration Consultant designs, configures, implements, and supports SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions.
The role provides functional leadership and advice to Finance, Tax, and IT stakeholders.
The scope includes compliant integration across Finance, Controlling, Asset Accounting, Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, and Vendor Invoice Management.
Business and SAP Finance
- Gather and analyze requirements and design SAP Finance, Lease Accounting, and Tax Compliance solutions.
- Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Lease Accounting (RE-FX) and cost allocation processes.
- Manage lease contracts, modifications, accounting postings, reporting, reconciliations, and closing support.
- Integrate FI, CO, AA, SD, MM, VIM, and compliance processes for invoice and finance operations.
Compliance and integrations
- Configure SAP DRC, eDocument, and Advanced Compliance Reporting solutions.
- Support e-invoicing, digital tax reporting, and Qatar GTA requirements.
- Design secure interfaces with tax authority platforms using SAP CPI, PI/PO, APIs, XML, and web services.
- Monitor Qatar Corporate Tax, VAT initiatives, and GCC regulatory developments.
Data, testing, and support
- Lead migration of lease, contract, tax master, and transaction data with validation and reconciliation.
- Execute functional, integration, and User Acceptance Testing and support releases and hypercare.
- Develop documentation, training materials, and end-user guides and conduct knowledge transfer.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support and coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and regulators.
Role requirements
- Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, Lease Accounting, tax compliance, and regulatory integration solutions.
- Knowledge of IFRS 16, ASC 842, Qatar tax reporting, and applicable regional compliance frameworks.
- Experience with SAP FI, CO, AA, SD, MM, VIM, DRC, CPI, PI/PO, APIs, XML, and web services.
- Experience with data migration, master data governance, testing, deployment, production support, and audit documentation.
