Business & Systems Analyst (BSA)

Role Purpose

Process and Requirements Analysis

• Plan stakeholder workshops and analyse the complete invoice lifecycle, including pricing, tax, approvals, delivery, collections, and archiving.
• Document and validate AS-IS processes with flows, roles, systems, hand-offs, interfaces, controls, and workarounds.
• Elicit, analyse, prioritise, and trace requirements through design, mappings, testing, and sign-off.
• Assess change requests for value, urgency, impact, effort, testing scope, and delivery risk.

Future-State and Integration Analysis

• Design TO-BE processes covering triggers, validations, exchanges, statuses, customer delivery, exceptions, corrections, and ownership.
• Assess impacts across applications, Oracle Fusion, master data, interfaces, reports, controls, security, support, and communications.
• Document integration payloads, fields, transformations, validations, acknowledgements, retries, monitoring, reconciliation, security, and error handling.
• Collaborate with architects, integration leads, and developers to review designs and resolve delivery gaps.

Data, Testing, and Readiness

• Prepare field-level source-to-target mappings, including ownership, formats, derivations, transformations, validations, samples, and exception treatment.
• Profile source data and define remediation through cleansing, master-data enrichment, source changes, configuration, integration logic, or controlled defaults.
• Develop positive, negative, boundary, conditional, exception, and integration test scenarios and support defect triage.
• Support cutover, production verification, training, hypercare, corrective action, knowledge transfer, and operational handover.

Governance and Communication

• Maintain RAID logs, action trackers, decisions, assumptions, traceability, mapping status, sign-offs, and progress reports.
• Escalate ambiguity, ownership conflicts, design gaps, system limitations, and risks with practical recommendations.
• Communicate complex process, system, and integration topics in clear business language.

Preferred Experience

• Billing, invoice-to-cash, finance transformation, customer master, ERP, or regulatory change experience is preferred.
• Oracle Fusion Financials, comparable ERP, Oracle Integration Cloud, or comparable middleware experience is preferred.
• E-invoicing, tax technology, regulatory reporting, or continuous transaction controls experience is advantageous, especially in Qatar, the UAE, or Saudi Arabia.
• Logistics, shipping, maritime, transportation, ports, data governance, Gulf-region projects, Arabic, or production support experience is advantageous.
