Role Purpose
Define, govern, and evolve enterprise application architecture so applications, integrations, data exchanges, and technology choices support business capabilities and digital strategy.
Provide architecture direction for application modernization, solution design, and portfolio rationalization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the application portfolio, application architecture views, reference architectures, and lifecycle roadmaps.
- Assess application fit, health, technical debt, duplication, integration dependencies, and alignment to business capabilities.
- Define target-state application architecture, rationalization recommendations, and transition roadmaps.
- Review solution designs, architecture documents, and non-functional requirements for compliance with enterprise architecture principles and standards.
- Work with solution, data, infrastructure, security, and integration teams to ensure coherent end-to-end designs.
- Establish traceability between business capabilities, processes, applications, data entities, interfaces, and technology components.
- Support application modernization, cloud adoption, package selection, and migration initiatives with architecture guidance.
- Contribute to architecture governance, design reviews, exception management, standards, and enterprise architecture repository quality.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in application architecture, solution architecture, systems analysis and design, application portfolio management, or a closely related role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
