Job Description

  • As a Senior Sales Manager, you're not just generating and managing group sales – you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the second in line within the Commercial Department, supporting the Director of Commercial in executing the hotel's commercial strategy.
  • Lead the Sales team in the absence of the Director of Commercial, ensuring continuity of operations and achievement of business objectives.
  • Assist in developing and implementing annual sales plans, budgets, and revenue strategies aligned with Hilton's commercial objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations to maximize hotel performance.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key corporate, government, leisure, MICE, and long stay accounts.
  • Prospect and secure new business opportunities to increase market share and hotel revenue.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, client presentations, networking events, and site inspections.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements in line with hotel policies and profitability goals.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and ensure timely follow up on all business opportunities.
  • Drive room, meeting, events, and ancillary revenue across all market segments.
  • Analyze production reports and account performance to maximize revenue opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is a distinct advantage.
  • Minimum 3 5 years of progressive hotel sales experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Previous experience with Hilton systems and commercial platforms is a distinct advantage.
  • Proven track record in corporate, MICE, leisure, and government account management is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong understanding of hotel revenue management principles and commercial operations.
