based in Doha, Qatar.
In this role, you will support
Emerson’s Control Valves business
by identifying market opportunities, developing customer-focused strategies, and driving sustainable growth across the Hydrocarbon sector.
You will use your technical understanding of valves and instrumentation to deliver insights, build strong customer relationships, and help position Emerson as the preferred partner for Flow Controls solutions.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Develop new sales leads by applying your understanding of customer needs and how control valves enhance efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Analyze current business strategies and recommend growth-oriented initiatives, forecasts, and market intelligence.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities, ensuring a seamless transition from business development to sales execution in alignment with business goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key decision ‑ makers to position Flow Controls solutions as the preferred choice.
- Drive brownfield projects, MRO, and lifecycle services opportunities across assigned accounts.
- Conduct site surveys to identify new opportunities and gather customer insights.
- Represent Emerson at industry events, seminars, and customer engagements while staying informed on product innovations, emerging technologies, and market trends.
- Ensure Business Unit initiatives align with account plans and are executed effectively and professionally.
- Perform other reasonable duties in support of business objectives.

For This Role, You Will Need
- Technical educational background, with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience in sales—ideally within valves, flow controls, or related technical fields—with the ability to engage both technical and non ‑ technical stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of the Hydrocarbon market and familiarity with valves or instrumentation applications.
- Ability to build relationships, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively in a customer ‑ focused environment.
- Experience working in dynamic, multinational environments with cross ‑ functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
- Working knowledge of control valves and their applications across industrial sectors.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to explain technical solutions in a clear, accessible way.
- Proficiency in English (spoken, written, and reading); Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- 7–10 years of experience in Sales related to valves or flow control technologies.
