Position Summary

  • As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of Emerson’s Appleton business across the Central region.
  • Based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE, you will support the expansion of rugged electrical solutions by partnering closely with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • This role offers the opportunity to combine strategic thinking, customer engagement, and collaborative leadership.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Drive orders and improve market participation for the Appleton business by developing strong value propositions and managing pricing and receivables responsibly.
  • Lead, coach, and collaborate with sales representatives across the Central region to achieve shared business objectives.
  • Meet or exceed financial targets in alignment with regional business plans, including budget, order, and sales objectives.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies, including key account management, strategic site plans, diversification initiatives, and early engagement on selected projects.
  • Expand lifecycle services and KOB3 opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability across the portfolio.
  • Analyze market and competitive trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and displacement.
  • Partner with marketing, application engineering, and regional teams to grow the Appleton business beyond traditional oil and gas markets, including power, water, metals, and mining.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with Emerson’s ethics, trade compliance, and safety standards.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Have bachelor's degree in electrical & electronics engineering or equivalent.
  • Have 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles supporting industrial or electrical solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross functional and matrix organizations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Understanding of regional market dynamics within the Middle East.
  • Commitment to ethical business practices and compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Familiarity with electrical products such as lighting, junction boxes, or panel boards.
  • Sales or commercial experience within the UAE, Oman, or the broader Central region.
  • Exposure to industries such as power and water, petrochemicals, fertilizers, metals, or mining.
  • Experience applying solution based or value focused selling approaches.
