About the Role
Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer – Controls Systems to drive growth in the Service Department for Building Technology and Solutions, focusing on Controls & Digital solutions.

- Adhere to company processes, policies, and compliances
- Differentiate Johnson Controls through market understanding and sales strategies
- Develop solutions for customer challenges using BMS product portfolio
- Focus on AMC contracts, retrofit jobs, control optimization, and digital solution selling
- Identify strategic accounts to grow business within JCI installed base
- Work with internal pre sales teams to create techno commercial solutions
- Create technical and commercial proposals for customers and tenders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or relevant experience
- 5 7 years in selling maintenance & service contracts, replacement/upgrade projects focusing on Building management systems
- Proven ability to maintain and expand accounts by generating new business and Pull throughs
- Valid UAE Driving License
- Customer focused and ability to build relationship with customers
- Organization skills and ability for multi tasking in a fast paced work environment
- Determined, results and self driven, maturity and high team spirit
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English

What You Will Do
- The Senior Sales Engineer – Controls Systems is a key role contributing to growth and managing major accounts reporting directly to Sales Manager – Controls, UAE.
- Based in Abu Dhabi, the role shall emphasize in bringing in business through AMC contracts, Pull through & retrofit jobs and control optimization and digital solution selling to drive the growth of business for Service Department for Building Technology and Solutions with particular focus on Control
How You Will Do It
- Compliance: Adhere to company processes, policies, and compliances.
- Market Strategy: Differentiate Johnson Controls through market understanding and sales strategies.
- Customer Engagement: Develop solutions for customer challenges using BMS product portfolio.
- Business Development: Focus on AMC contracts, retrofit jobs, control optimization, and digital solution selling.
- Stakeholder Mapping: Identify strategic accounts to grow business within JCI installed base.
- Collaboration: Work with internal pre sales teams to create techno commercial solutions.
- Proposal Preparation: Create technical and commercial proposals for customers and tenders.
What We Look For
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or relevant experience.
- 5 7 years in selling maintenance & service contracts, replacement/upgrade projects focusing on Building management systems.
- Track Record: Proven ability to maintain and expand accounts by generating new business and Pull throughs.
- License: Valid UAE Driving License.
- Customer focused and ability to build relationship with customers.
- Organization skills and ability for multi tasking in a fast paced work environment.
- Determined, results and self driven, maturity and high team spirit are essential qualities to succeed in a dynamic environment.
